JyutConnect aims to build a community which provide resources and opportunities for Cantonese overseas to connect with each other and support each other in real life. Cantonese overseas, by our definition, can be anyone who share the cultural identity and are willing to learn and use languages in the Lingnan area (e.g., Cantonese, Teochew, Hakka). We believe community building is an essential part of the efforts to preserve Cantonese language and culture.
